Police release names of men killed in north side shooting

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Police have released the names of two men who died after a shooting on the north side of Indianapolis Thursday afternoon.

The victims have been identified as Michael Brown and Antonio Lee, both of Indianapolis.

Detectives believe Brown and Lee were shot in an alley east of 3100 North Graceland around 1:45 p.m. After they were shot the driver, Brown, headed south in the alley to West 30th Street, then north on Graceland Avenue before crashing into a tree.

According to police, Lee, who was the passenger in the car was pronounced dead at the scene. Brown was taken to IU Health Methodist Hospital in critical condition where he later died.
