MIAMI COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – Indiana DNR officers said the man they pulled from Mississinewa Lake on Saturday has died.

According to the DNR, Adron Robinson, 32, of Peru, was swimming with friends in an area of the lake commonly referred to as “The Cove.” His friends said they were swimming across the cove, but Robinson never made it across. They immediately called for help.

According to DNR officials, divers entered the water and found Robinson in about a minute. However, DNR officers and emergency personnel were unable to revive him.

Mississinewa Lake is near the Miami and Wabash County lines.
