INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The grandmother and granddaughter who were found dead in a home in the 2600 block of North Dearborn Street Friday morning died from gunshot wounds, according to the Marion County Coroner’s Office.

The coroner said Julia Morrow, 84 and Inity Morrow, 30, suffered from multiple gunshot wounds.

Police said the 911 operator could hear a woman screaming and things being slammed in the background when the call came in on Friday morning around 7:10.

Police said Quintico Goolsby, 36, of Indianapolis, shot the two women and then shot an IMPD officer.

IMPD Officer Gregory Milburn has since been treated and released from the hospital. Police said the bulletproof vest he was wearing saved his life.

Officer Milburn fatally shot Goolsby at the scene, according to police.

IMPD officers have not released the relationship between the two victims and Goolsby at this time.
