INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A Greenwood fourth grader found out he’s one of 25 kids from across the country picked to go to the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

Nathan found out before the Indy Eleven game Saturday night. He gets to go thanks to McDonalds of Central Indiana and the Indy Eleven.

Nathan will get to meet some of the world’s best soccer players and walk hand-in-hand with them onto the field.

The student’s mom said the trip is full of once-in-a-lifetime opportunities.

“Getting an opportunity to see South America.. as well as the opportunity to experience the events related with the world cup and meeting people from different countries,” Nathan’s mom said Saturday.

Nathan and his mom leave the US on June 12 for a four-night, five-day trip, with the first stop in Rio de Janeiro.
