IMPD: Bullet grazed victim’s head

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – IMPD said a person who was shot in the head Saturday afternoon on the city’s west side is expected to survive.

According to police, the person was shot near the intersection of North High School Road and Wedgewood Way, which is near the area of Grace Brethren Church.

The victim was awake and breathing after the shooting, police said. IMPD said the bullet grazed the victim.

IMPD did not say what condition the person was in at this time.
