Two airlifted after motorcycle crash on I-69 near Pendleton

MADISON COUNTY, Ind. —Two people were airlifted after a motorcycle crash on I-69 near Pendleton on Saturday afternoon, according to 24-Hour News 8’s new partners, The Herald Bulletin.

Anderson police said the crash happened near the 221 mile marker around 12:35 p.m. According to police, a motorcycle blew its rear tire and lost control.

Two passengers were transported by helicopter to IU Health Methodist Hospital and St. Vincent Health in Indianapolis.

The Herald Bulletin reports as of 4:30 p.m. Saturday, both people were in stable condition. Police said additional information on the motorcycle passengers was unavailable pending notification of family members.
