Ind. man arrested after running over neighbor with ATV

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (AP) — Authorities have arrested a 29-year-old Evansville man on felony charges after he allegedly ran over a 75-year-old neighbor with his all-terrain vehicle.

Bradley Wallace was being held Sunday evening at the Vanderburgh County Jail on preliminary charges of aggravated battery and criminal recklessness.

The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office says the neighbor, Robert Lee Waters, was treated at a hospital for a possible broken nose and a nearly severed finger.

Officers say Wallace admitted he intentionally ran over Waters Saturday evening because he was tired of the older man “messing with him” and wanted him off his property.

Waters told officers he was measuring his own property for a fence at the time. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
