Driver of ATV injured after striking bridge abutment and a tree

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WISH) – A Bloomington man was taken to the hospital after his ATV hit a bridge abutment and a tree.

On Tuesday at 8:15 p.m. James Lee, 53, was driving an ATV on Fluck Mill Road when he lost control and drove into the bridge abutment and then a tree. Lee was thrown off the ATV.

Lee was not wearing a seatbelt or protective gear. He was taken to IU Health Bloomington for a broken leg and broken ribs.
