IU slugger Kyle Schwarber was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in Thursday’s Major League Baseball draft.  He was picked 4th overall; that is the highest pick ever for an IU baseball player.

Schwarber, a 6-foot, 240 pound fireplug, belted 14 homers as a junior, 18 as a sophomore, and batted a scintillating .358.
