Identity released for woman killed in Boone County crash

BOONE COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – Police have identified the woman killed in a crash on Indiana 267 that took place Thursday afternoon.

24-Hour News 8’s news partner The Lebanon Report said Cathy A. Teter, 63, of Lebanon, was the person killed in a two-car crash on Indiana 267 at Indianapolis Avenue in Whitestown.

The crash was right in front of Love’s Truck Stop at 4155 S. Indianapolis Road around 2:05 p.m. Thursday.

Preliminary reports find that Teter was driving eastbound on Indianapolis road. She failed to stop causing a GMC Yukon heading southbound to strike her vehicle.

Teter’s daughter, Cassidy Culley, 37, of Lebanon was taken to the hospital in critically injured. Culley’s son had minor injuries.

Culley was in a rear seat, she was not wearing a seatbelt. Culley’s son was in the front passenger seat.
