NEW ALBANY, Ind. (AP) — Southern Indiana police officers have shot and killed two loose dogs after they attacked a man in his yard.
The New Albany Police Department says they dogs were located nearby after attacking the man Monday morning. When an animal control officer tried to capture the dogs, they became more aggressive, and the officer asked the police to kill the dogs. Police fired four shots, killing both of the animals.
The man who was attacked was treated by medical personnel. His name hasn’t been released.
No other injuries were reported.
