Fishers police seek man who looked in girl’s window

FISHERS, Ind. (WISH) — Authorities in Hamilton County have an alert: someone spotted a man looking in a girl’s window.

It happened just after midnight Wednesday at the Wellington Apartments at 106th Street and Lantern Road in Fishers.

Officers say a man called police after he caught a prowler looking in his daughter’s window.

The suspect is described as a white man wearing blue jeans, an unzipped blue hooded sweatshirt, and a white shirt with writing on it.

Two police dogs searched the area but did not find him.

People who live at the complex tell 24-Hour News 8 that the area is normally safe.

“It’s surprising because police officers use the entrance to our neighborhood a lot. They’re sitting there a lot for speeders and things like that, especially at night. So it was surprising to have something like that happen with the police presence that we have around here,” said neighbor Vince Scott.

The suspect is described as a white man wearing blue jeans, an unzipped blue hooded sweatshirt, and a white shirt with writing on it.

Police are asking anyone that may have information to call the Fishers Police Department at 317-595-3300.
