BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WISH) – Indiana head football coach Kevin Wilson announced Wednesday that junior quarterback Tre Roberson is transferring.

Roberson split playing time with Nate Sudfeld last season. He played in 12 games, starting in four. He threw for 1,128 yards with 15 touchdowns, while adding 423 and five touchdowns rushing.

In 2011, Roberson became the first true freshman to start at quarterback for the Hoosiers. He missed most of the 2012 after breaking his leg in the second game of the season.
