Gas station owners offer reward in clerk killed case

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – As police continue to search for suspects in the shooting death of a gas station clerk, the owners of the station are now offering a reward for information.

45-year-old Harry Briggs was shot in the head during a robbery at the Kix 66 station in the 5200 block of West Troy Avenue last Wednesday.  Briggs died days later at Sidney and Lois Eskenazi Hospital.

The owners of the station are offering $10,000 for any information leading to an arrest in the case.

Gas station clerk shootingThe suspect is described as a black male, in his late teens to early 20s, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 foot tall, 180 pounds to 200 pounds, light skinned, with earrings in both ears. Police say the suspect was wearing a black and red Miami Heat ball cap, black bandana over his face, gray hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black and white sneakers.
