INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indy Parks is helping people find a fun way to cool off this summer.
City leaders helped celebrate the grand opening of the city’s newest water spray grounds at Riverside Park with a special ribbon cutting and ceremonial first splash on Thursday.
The Indy Parks system has 16 water spray grounds. They are free to the public and are open from dawn to dusk. They operate on an extended schedule than pools.
The water spray ground is located at 1831 Lafayette Road and was funded by a grant awarded to the Parks Foundation by United Water.
