Indiana lieutenant governor leading trip to Asia

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Indiana Lt. Gov. Sue Ellspermann is heading overseas to promote the state’s agriculture industry.

Ellspermann says she will lead a delegation of industry leaders and commodity representatives during the trip to Asia. The delegation plans to visit Japan, South Korea and Taiwan for two weeks beginning Saturday.

The lieutenant governor says she’ll seek to build new business relationships and let Indiana leaders explore opportunities overseas.
