Pursuit ends in crash on northeast side

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH)  – Police said a pursuit ended in a crash on the city’s northeast side Friday evening.

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the pursuit started near 35th Street and Graham Avenue around 9 p.m. It ended when the driver of the car police were chasing lost control and hit a tree at 39th and Graham.

IMPD said the driver was taken to a local hospital.

The driver’s identity and condition was not released as of 11 p.m. Friday night.

Police said they wanted to question the driver in connection to a drug investigation.
