INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Police in Indianapolis said Saturday evening that a mentally-disabled teenage girl last seen Saturday afternoon was found safe.

Officers say around 2 p.m. they were called to the 8800 block of Bel Air Court on the report of a missing person. That’s where they say 16-year-old Faith Bowman was last seen just before 2 p.m.

Police say Bowman suffers from a traumatic brain injury and functions at the level of a 7-year-old.

IMPD tweeted around 7:30 p.m. that Bowman had been found and was safe.
