Boy Scout’s Cookout on the Circle

Marsh Supermarkets and Crossroads of America Council, Boy Scouts of America will host the 23rd Annual Cookout on the Circle on Thursday, June 19. Each meal includes a bratwurst or grilled chicken sandwich, potato salad, a banana, cookies and a drink for $7.

Cookout on the Circle raises $25,000 for camp scholarships to help send more than 1,000 Scouts to Cub Scout and Boy Scout summer camp.

About 4,000 Hoosiers are expected to enjoy lunch on Monument Circle in addition to Governor Mike Pence, Mayor Greg Ballard and other city officials. WISH-TV personalities will be on hand, along with Scouts benefitting from the program, to serve as guest cooks.
