Medical helicopters called to Hancock Co. crash

HANCOCK COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) — Two medical helicopters were called to the scene of a crash in Hancock County late Wednesday night.

The two-vehicle crash happened around 10:50 p.m. in the 7600 block of West U.S. 40. This is just east of Cumberland.

It wasn’t immediately clear how many people were injured or how serious their injuries were. Around 11:15 p.m. police dispatchers said one medical helicopter had landed at the scene of the crash and that a second helicopter was requested.
