Classic cars lost in body shop fire

HOPE, Ind. (The Republic) – Body shop owner, James Lobdell, lost his business and two of his classic cars when his shop caught fire Tuesday afternoon.

Jim’s Garage and Body Shop in Hope was destroyed by the fire that broke out just after 4 p.m.

According to the Republic, James was able to get a customer’s car out of the burning building, but he wasn’t able to save two classic cars he had been working on for the past four months.
