Adam, 43, was on Churchman Avenue on Tuesday when someone took his old scooter and beat him with the parts. His scooter was his only mode of transportation.

When Brian Ludlow, the owner of Indy Trading Post, heard the story he felt moved to help. Ludlow bought Adam a new bike.

“I wasn’t looking for a pat on the back or anything, just to help a guy out. Because what happened to him, wasn’t his fault, he was the victim of a crime,” Ludlow said.

Ludlow said he knows what it’s like to be a victim of crime and he was glad to be able to help Adam. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
