New Miss Indiana crowned Saturday night

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A new Miss Indiana was crowned on Saturday night.

59 contestants from across Indiana competed for the title at Zionsville Community High School. Each woman was judged on interview, evening gown, swimsuit, on-stage question, and talent.

Audra Casterline, Miss Hoosier Heartland, was crowned Miss Indiana 2014. She will go on to represent Indiana in the Miss America pageant in September in Atlantic City.

Maddison Bryan, Miss Three Rivers Festival’s Outstanding Teen, was crowned Miss Indiana’s Outstanding Teen 2014.

The winners will receive thousands of dollars worth of scholarships.

Casterline will give her first interview Sunday morning on 24-Hour News 8’s Daybreak at 7:45 a.m.
