INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Noblesville beat Terre Haute North 2-1 to take the IHSAA class 4A state baseball title Friday night at Victory Field.

Dax McLochlin’s RBI triple in the top of the sixth inning for the Millers broke a 1-1 tie.

“I’m really just speechless,” McLochlin said. “The team came out well. We worked hard for this all season. I think we really deserve this.”

“I can’t express how proud I am of all 20 of these guys and just how they stayed together all year long,” Noblesville head coach Justin Keever said. “It’s a joy I’ll never forget. I’ll never forget this moment. It was a great experience.”

It’s Noblesville’s first state baseball championship.
