INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Over a thousand cyclists took to the track to raise money to stop diabetes.

Tour De Cure took place on Saturday, and participants took part in a ride that ended at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway track.

Bikers could participate in a recreational ride, a 100-mile challenge and a 50k and 75k road ride.

The event helps raise awareness for the American Diabetes Association. More than 750,000 in the Hoosiers state have diabetes.
