Man killed in crash one week before wedding

FOUNTAIN Co., Ind. (WLFI) – A man is dead, leaving behind his fiance and young daughter, after a crash in Fountain County on Saturday afternoon.

According to the Fountain County Sheriff’s Office, Jordan Rich, 19, was driving northbound on Kingman Road around 4:30 p.m. when he failed to yield at a stop sign at the road’s intersection with County Road 800 South.

An eastbound vehicle, driven by Nancy Dyon, hit Rich’s SUV.

Rich was traveling with his fiance Kadie Morgan, 18, daughter Aubree Rich, 15 months, and Kadie’s mother, Andrea Green, 38.

Rich was declared dead at the scene. Morgan and Rich were taken to a Crawfordsville hospital where they were treated and released.

Green was transported to IU Methodist Hospital in critical condition.

Dyon was taken to St. Vincent’s Hospital in Williamsport and was released.

Jordan and Kadie were to be married within a week.
