INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Audra Casterline, Miss Hoosier Heartland, was crowned Miss Indiana 2014 on Saturday night. She will go on to represent Indiana in the Miss America pageant in September in Atlantic City.
The newly-crowned Casterline says she’s passionate about her platform and on a mission to help others.
On Sunday morning, she talked to 24-Hour News 8’s Drew Blair on Daybreak about her platform, which aims to raise awareness about eating disorders.
Three years ago, Casterline battled anorexia. She says she wants others to avoid the path that she fell into accidentally.
