Man who died in Knox County fire ID’d

KNOX COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) – Officials have released the name of the person killed in a fire in Knox County on Thursday.

Around 10:12 a.m., firefighters were dispatched to a pole barn fire on 2632 S. Sievers extension road. Firefighters found a body in the building.

Knox County Coroner Gordon Becher said Daniel Toth, 50, of Vincennes, died of smoke inhalation.

Firefighters have not yet released the cause of the fire.
