INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Police are looking for three suspects who pushed their way into a man’s home Friday afternoon, getting away with guns.
It happened on the city’s east side, on the 2800 block of 16th Street, around noon.
Charles Green, 64, told 24-Hour News 8 his friend was just leaving his home when an armed man stopped her and pushed his way into the house.
He said two more suspects ran inside, pushed him onto a bed and stole his wallet, cash, a shotgun, rifle and two handguns.
“There wasn’t a whole lot I could think. I was just doing what they were telling me to do. Didn’t want to get shot,” said Green.
This wasn’t the first time this has happened to Green. He says earlier this year, he was robbed at gunpoint inside his own home, as well. That time, suspects got away with guns too.
Green said he’s hoping these suspects are caught before they do the same to someone else.
He, and his son, Charles Green Jr., told 24-Hour News 8 they hope curbing the crime in our area, would start with parents, at the home, before crime occurs in the first place.
