Homeowner injured after home is engulfed by flames

JAMESTOWN, Ind. (WISH) – Fire crews responded to a home in Boone County that was fully engulfed in flames.

The fire at the home on 10038 West and 600 south started around 8:50 a.m. on Saturday.

According to the Boone County dispatch the homeowner received minor injuries from the fire. They were taken to Eskenazi Health.

Fire crews were told to evacuate the building while they were trying to put out the fire, because the flames were too much.

Other details surrounding the fire were not immediately clear.
