Man arrested after three-county police pursuit

MARION COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – Police said one man is in custody Saturday evening after a police pursuit that went through three counties.

According to the Indiana State Police Indianapolis post, the pursuit ended in a crash near I-465 and I-74 in Marion County.

The suspect was injured, but no other injuries were reported. He was arrested at the scene.

Police said the chase started on I-74 in Greensburg in Decatur County. Greensburg officers spotted a driver wanted in a domestic dispute out of Franklin County.

The suspect then fled from police and drove westbound through Shelby County before crashing in Marion County.

Officers have not yet released how the chase started or why the suspect led them on the chase.
