WESTPORT, Ind. (WISH) – A tip helped police arrested two for meth making materials in rural Decatur County.
Joshua Harris, 37, and Sharon Huber, 52, were arrested on Wednesday. They were arrested on preliminary charges of dealing meth and possession of chemical reagents or precursors with intent to manufacture meth. Huber was also charged with maintaining a common nuisance. Harris also faces a misdemeanor charge of possession of paraphernalia.
24-Hour News 8’s news partners at the Greensburg Daily News reports an investigation that began on Wednesday after a tip was given to the Westport Town Marsha lead police to the home in the 1000 block of West CR 850 South in Westport.
At the home police found drug paraphernalia and items to manufacture meth. They also found a modified propane tank that had anhydrous ammonia, which is commonly used to make meth.
Both suspects were awaiting court appearances on Friday.
