INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers have identified the teen who was hit and killed by a car on the city’s south side early Sunday morning.
Police said Jack Bussa, 15, was walking along South Meridian and Stop 11 Road with two friends around 2:17 a.m. Bussa’s two friends told police they heard the crash and looked back to see Bussa being thrown into the grass.
The car fled after the crash.
According to police, the witnesses were not able to provide a good description of the car that hit Bussa.
Police said Bussa died from his injuries in a local hospital about 45 minutes after the crash.
