Ball State student injured after fall from fire escape

MUNCIE, Ind. (WISH) — Officials at Ball State University say a student was injured last week after falling from a fraternity house fire escape.

A university spokesperson says the female student was treated and released from a hospital after falling from a fire escape she tried to climb at a campus fraternity. The incident happened early Friday morning.

Officials say the student’s name has been withheld at the family’s request. The university has launched an investigation into the incident.
