INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Metropolitan Police are looking for the driver of a car that struck a pool shed early Monday.
Around 3:30 a.m. police got a call reporting a car into a creek near West 47th Street and London Drive. When officers arrived, they found the front end of a car into a creek.
The driver of the crashed vehicle escaped by way of the driver side window, but fled the scene.
Police say the car also struck a shack that was connected to an outdoor pool at that location. Water poured from the building and spilled into nearby Guion Creek.
Health officials called to the scene said they don’t suspect any hazardous material made its way into the creek.
