ATLANTA, Georgia (WISH) — Graco is recalling harness buckles used on approximately 1.9 million infant car seats.
The recalled harnesses were manufactured between July 2010 and May 2013. Some consumers say they have had difficulty or have been unable to open the buckle.
No injuries have been reported, but Graco is encouraging people to order a buckle replacement kit and install the new buckle as soon as possible. Officials say while you wait for your new buckle, continue to use an appropriate car seat. If you don’t have an alternative, the affected car seats may be safely used until replacement buckles are available.
Graco is providing a free replacement buckle to any consumer included or not included in this recall.
