Police: Man kidnapped girl, made her perform sex acts

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who they say kidnapped a teenage girl and made her perform sex acts.

Officials with Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department and Crime Stoppers say the man is wanted for criminal deviate conduct and kidnapping.

According to police, around 4 p.m. on June 18, a man forced a 14-year-old girl at gunpoint into his tan or silver 4-door Ford Taurus , in the parking lot of the First Cash Pawn located at 9021 East 38th Street. Police say he forced the girl to perform sex acts before he let her go.

“Sick to my stomach that people have the mentality to do something like that,” said Resident Darren Nealy.

The suspect is described as a white male, in his 40s, with grayish hair, wearing an orange collared shirt.

“These type of predators don’t stop at one,” said Crime Stoppers Steve DuBois. “It was an important case to bring to the public’s attention.”

Crime Stoppers decided to release information on the case weeks later because no tips were coming in on possible suspects.

“It’s a 14-year-old baby,” said Resident Tana China. ” Somebody should step up and let them know because we need them off the street.”

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the felony arrest of this suspect. Tips must be submitted anonymously and directly to Crime Stoppers to be eligible for this cash reward.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 317-262-8477(TIPS) or 800-222-8477(TIPS). You can also text “INDYCS” plus your tip to 274637 (CRIMES). Anonymous tips may also be submitted at www.CrimeTips.org.
