NBOMe

JOHNSON COUNTY (WISH) –A recent Mother’s Day death that killed a 16-year-old was caused by a drug called 25i-NBOMe, or N-Bomb. Now, the parents are speaking up about the dangers of the drug.

Jeanine Motsay’s son, 16-year-old Samuel Motsay died from taking the new hallucinogen over Mother’s Day Weekend. 24-Hour News 8’s news partners at the Daily Journal say that Jeanine is now speaking out.

Motsay was found dead in a home in the Eagles Trace subdivision on May 11 with what, at the time, police called an unknown substance nearby. Analysis from the Indiana State Police indicated the substance was 25I-NBOMe.

Jeanine Motsay will talk about the drug and how it has changed her life since her son’s death at a forum next month. The forum will be held by members of the Drug Enforcement Administration and local police.

The drug caused at least two deaths in Indiana.
