Police investigate break-in at elementary school

FRANKLIN, Ind. (WISH) – An elementary school was broken into on Monday afternoon.

Franklin Police say Webb Elementary School, on 1400 Webb Court was broken into at 1:19 p.m. A teacher called in the break-in after a parent reported a broken window on the north side of the building.

The suspect(s) is believed to have thrown something at the window to break it. No one was not found inside the school. However, police located blood on the window sill and the wall near the window.

The suspect(s) went through desks and knocked over trash cans throughout the building.
