INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Fire officials in Indianapolis say they’re not ruling out lightning as the cause of a house fire on the city’s near northeast side Tuesday morning.

Firefighters responded to the 3100 block of Stuart Street around 6:45 a.m. and found heavy fire showing from the back of the house.

Crews got the fire under control in 15 minutes. Damages have been estimated at $25,000.

Investigators are looking into what caused the fire. At this time they say they cannot rule out a lightning strike as the cause.
