FRANKLIN, Ind. (WISH) – It has been a long road for one teen that was saved from the Big Blue River on June 6. But there is some good news for 16-year-old Sarah McLevish.

McLevish is now in stable condition at Riley Hospital. However, she is still in a coma and fighting hard to make a full recovery.

McLevish was swimming in the Big Blue River when she somehow fell over the dam into the churning waters. Four boys jumped in after her. Two boys, Mark Nally & Trent Crabb, were able to get out and pull Sarah McLevish and Michael Chadbourne to shore.

Jason Moran was lost in the water. Moran’s body was found by rescuers on that Sunday morning. After three days in critical condition Michael Chadbourne was taken off life support after organ placement.

According to the Facebook group When Sarah Smiles, Mclevish will undergo rehab for sensory stimulation. Mclevish was also breathing on her own while she was at Methodist Hospital.
