Two injured after shooting on north side

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers said two people were injured after a shooting on Sunday morning on the city’s near north side.

When police arrived at 37th Street and Kenwood Avenue around 9:40 a.m., they found a man inside of a van who had been shot multiple times. The victim was taken to Methodist Hospital in critical condition.

A second man was grazed in the back inside of the van. He was treated and released at the scene.

The motive for this incident is unknown at this time, according to police.

IMPD officers are looking for a grey four-door car, possibly a Taurus.
