NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — Police say the driver of a vehicle was flown to an Indianapolis hospital after a crash in Noblesville Tuesday morning.

Emergency personnel responded to the area of Hague Road and Fox Chase Drive around 11:30 a.m. and found the car had crashed into a tree. One person inside the car was unconscious.

Police say preliminarily it appears the car was driving northbound on Hague Road when it left the roadway for an unknown reason. The car eventually came to rest after it hit a small tree.

The patient inside the car was taken by ambulance to Riverview Health Hospital in Noblesville and later flown to St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

Hague Road was temporarily closed while crews investigated the crash.
