Community looks forward to renovated basketball court

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Friends, neighbors and day camp kids teamed up with the Pacers, the Fever and Indianapolis Power and Light on Wednesday to renovate an outdoor basketball court at Garfield Park.

The overhaul not only tidied up the park, but gave the community a better basketball court to play on. The group has also finished renovations at courts at Thatcher and Olin Parks.

The next courts slated for renovation include Gardner, Bertha Ross, Christina Oaks, Chapel Hill and Dubarry.
