GREENSBURG, Ind. (WISH) — A woman who police believe bit a county fairgoer on the face pleaded guilty to charges in the case this week.
Forty-one-year-old Charisma Parker was arrested late Friday night at the Decatur County fairgrounds.
Court documents state Parker jumped on a woman at the fair, hit her in the head several times and then bit her on the face, 24-Hour News 8’s news partners at The Greensburg Daily News report.
Police say the incident started after the victim had a brief argument with Parker’s daughter. The woman was taken to a local hospital to be treated for her injuries, which included a swollen eye due to the bite.
Parker pleaded guilty Tuesday to misdemeanor battery and intimidation charges. She remained at the Decatur County Jail after her plea.
Court documents show Parker has pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges of battery and disorderly conduct in the past.
