INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Gary Brackett made a real impact during his time playing for the Indianapolis Colts and that continues off the field with his “Impact Foundation.”

On Wednesday, Brackett and Methodist Health Foundation unveiled the “Gotcha Covered” Locker, in the emergency department.

IU Health Methodist Hospital treats thousands of people each year, more than 36,000 of them with traumatic injuries.

This locker will offer patients clothing, who might not have any when it’s time to leave the hospital.

“Maybe sometime, someone was in a car wreck, or a slip or fall or whatever the case is, and their clothing was unfortunately soiled or maybe torn, this is a way now they can leave with some clothes on their back and really can go out of here with a good feeling about Methodist and everything that we do here,” said Gary Brackett.

Brackett’s Foundation gave a$10,000 donation to purchase clothing for the locker.
