INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Detectives said on Friday they arrested and charged an Indianapolis man for a deadly shooting in April.
According to IMPD, their Violent Crimes Unit detectives, Indiana State Pollice and the FBI arrested 43-year-old Curtis Foster of Indianapolis on an outstanding warrant charging him with murder.
Foster was taken into custody Thursday around 11 p.m. in the 3900 block of Esquire Place and taken to the Arrestee Processing Center. He was being held on a formal charge of murder with no bond.
Detectives credit an anonymous tip from the community in the arrest. Foster is accused of shooting and killing 48-year-old Jerome Warren on April 9 in the 5600 block of East 20th Street. Police say the motive for the shooting stemmed from an ongoing disturbance/argument.
