MARION COUNTY, Ind. (WISH)  – Three Wayne Township Fire Department trucks were broken into Sunday morning, according to the station’s spokesman.

Michael Pruitt, spokesman for WTFD, said several firefighters parked the trucks at the Chapel Hill Shopping Center, near N. High School Road and W. 10th Street, around 9:30 a.m.

The firefighters went to a restaurant for breakfast and came back about an hour later to find the trucks had been broken into. The firefighters’ personal items had been stolen from the truck.

Pruitt said the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department filed a police report on the incident.
