FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – A Fort Wayne man is facing multiple felony charges after police said he raped a 15-year-old girl.
28-year-old Paris Patmon faces three counts of rape by force or threat of force and four counts of sexual misconduct with a minor.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, Patmon lured the 15-year-old to a basement where he forced her to undress and performed sexual acts on her.
A few weeks later, on July 13, the 15-year-old and Patmon met in a hallway. Patmon is accused of pinning her against a wall and forcing sex acts on her again.
After the first incident, the victim said she was afraid of Patmon and that he told her not to tell anyone about it. She told police that Patmon repeatedly told her not to tell anyone about either incident or her life would be over.
The girl immediately reported the second incident to authorities and was taken to the Sexual Assault Treatment Center. On Tuesday, July 15, Patmon called police and said he wanted to turn himself in and make a statement.
Patmon was brought in and, in his statement to police, he denied assaulting the 15-year-old girl. He offered to take a voice stress test to demonstrate to police that he was being truthful. Police did administer the test, but it indicated that he was being deceptive, according to the affidavit of probable cause.
Patmon is currently being held on a $70,000 bond at the Allen County jail.
