INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Firefighters were busy Wednesday morning battling a house fire on the south side of Indianapolis.

Crews were called to a home in the 1200 block of Union Street around 3:15 a.m. Neighbors said they saw fire in the upstairs bedroom and called 911.

When firefighters arrived they found heavy fire and smoke showing from the second floor.

No one was home at the time. Firefighters were able to bring the fire under control in 25 minutes.

There were no injuries reported. Damages to the home are estimated at $75,000. Investigators are now working to determine what may have caused the fire.
